Find your Rep at house.mi.gov to get started. (House Bills 4062 and 4063) 2. Advocate for #HousingNotHurdles Help remove barriers to housing for people with convictions in Michigan. Sign Nation Outside’s letter. 3. Tell Government to Invest in Housing Advocate for sustainable solutions to homelessness that create more affordable housing, including changing regulations and increasing funding. 4. Support WHA’s Member Agencies Our members significantly benefit from volunteer support and donations. Connect with our agencies to help. 5. Take Action to End Hunger Food Gatherers is the food bank and food rescue program serving our county’s network of food pantries. Support their advocacy efforts today. 6. Connect WHA with Landlords WHA facilitates the Landlord Advisory Group to educate landlords about our efforts to end homelessness. Sign up to join! 7. Volunteer for Winter Programs Shelter Association of Washtenaw County coordinates shelter programs in the winter (sign-up to help) & MISSION coordinates daytime shelter in the county (sign-up to help). 8.
