Webinar
This webinar series features two online webinars that will take place during fair housing month. These webinars detail ways for stakeholders serving individuals with disabilities to get involved with fair housing planning activities. These webinars will be sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO) and the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Administration for Community Living (ACL). These webinars will be 508 compliant and will provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Communication Access Real Time Translation (CART) speech-to-text interpreting services (also referred to as real-time captioning).
This first session is focused on providing background on Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) and its relation to disability.
