Virtual - Zoom
Housing Advocates Training PLUS (HAT+) is a deeper dive into practical fair housing and landlord/tenant advocacy, as well as current and historical housing policy issues that impact the people we serve. Designed for those who have participated in the original Housing Advocates Training within the past three years, HAT+ attendees will work through realistic advocacy scenarios, hear from local, state, and federal housing experts, and have the opportunity to “troubleshoot” real-world client and agency challenges. Trainers include representatives from the Fair Housing Center of Southeast & Mid Michigan, Legal Services of South Central Michigan, Michigan Poverty Law Program, University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and the Washtenaw Housing Alliance.
Registration will be available in the fall 2022. You must have attended Housing Advocates Training in the past three years to attend HAT+.
