Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month (OAM). The 2023 theme is Aging Unbound, which offers an opportunity to explore diverse aging experiences. Join us as our panel discusses the importance of lifting the voices of older adults and creating authentic engagement. A mix of professional experience and personal lived expertise is essential for creating impactful solutions that integrate authentic engagement. In this webinar, hear about ways to promote flexible thinking about aging – and how we all benefit when older adults remain engaged, independent, and included.

Panelists:

  • DeForrest (DeDe) Hancock, member, Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative Lived Expertise Board

  • Sharron Dreyer, member, Fairfax County Commission on Aging

  • Linda Hernandez-Giblin, Volunteer Solutions Planning Coordinator, Fairfax Area Agency on Aging
