Did you know:

  • Eligible homeowners and renters can get some of their property taxes back, up to $1,600, with a Michigan Homestead Credit?

    • Homestead Credits can be filed retroactively, up to three years!

  • The Michigan Home Heating Credit helps eligible low-income homeowners and renters pay some of their heating expenses?

    • The deadline for Michigan Home Heating Credits is September 30, 2023

In partnership with the AARP Foundation PTA (Property Tax-Aide) program, the Housing Bureau for Seniors is hosting a Homestead Credit and Home Heating Credit event.
