The WHA and Housing Coordinators Network (HCN) have launched a Landlord Advisory Group. To kick off the advisory group, WHA hosted a networking and informational event on July 27th, 2023 inviting several landlords and HCN service providers. Landlords had an opportunity to ask questions about programs in the homeless system of care and housing sector as well as shared their experiences housing tenants in the community. The event also helped build an introductory understanding of our county's homeless system of care structure, partnerships, gaps/needs, and current challenges.

We continue to seek partnerships with landlords and property owners who are willing to help house people with some housing barriers and who know it is going to take all of us working and advocating together in order to end homelessness. If you know someone interested in joining our efforts by participating in this group, please get in touch with our Community Housing Locator. The Advisory Group is expected to meet at least once per month. September’s meeting is the second meeting of the group.
